(Sour Lemons™)
Not only is this bright, it has to be the cheeriest yellow of all time. It reminds me so much of sour lemon candy my tongue is curling.
What’s interesting is the fact that the powder itself looks yellow with an orange hue, but that does not entirely carry through to the end product in every medium I tested it in: clear MP soap, CP soap and epoxy resin.
The resulting color in the products is kind of a super-bright version of lemon meringue pie. The orange hue may be pretty much gone (which is odd, as that doesn't usually happen, though it's hinted at in epoxy and clear MP), but I believe it's bringing SOMETHING special because the end result is stunning!
This is the perfect summer color since lemons and lemonade are a such big part of those hot lazy days.
As is lab-standard, I used three grams per pound of cold process soap batter - that got me a really lovely bright yellow soap. It performed predictably in both epoxy resin and clear MP soap (usage in MP was ½ teaspoon per lb. of clear base) and definitely has a hint of that orange in some light, though it's almost impossibly subtle. I love this.

When I ordered this color I didn't realize how in love I would become. Its a vibrant yellow just what I've been looking for... Not only am I excited to use it in my soaps but I may customize a nail color just because I'm a fan of the yellow and shimmer combination... Great job Mad Micas!!
I've struggled to find the perfect yellow, they have always been to neon or too dark. This is the perfect shade, i love it so much!
Wow, this is the perfect citrus color for lemons! It almost makes my mouth pucker just looking at it. I love making lemon wedges with it to add to my soap products!
